Uniformed Services – Level 2

This is an ideal qualification for those interested in a career within the Uniformed Services, such as the Fire Service, Police or Military. You will study topics like crime and its effects on society, improving health & fitness and employment in the uniformed services.

You'll participate in a diverse range of theoretical and practical activities ranging from fitness testing and training to government policies and the management of major incidents.

Visits are made to army barracks, RAF bases and training grounds so that students can develop a better understanding of what it means to represent the uniformed services.

Physical fitness is very important in many of these roles, along with good communication, team working and problem-solving skills. We use a number of facilities in the local area.
