Over the past few weeks, music students from Kidderminster College have been taking their talents on the road, delivering live performances and interactive workshops to schools across the region. These visits have provided invaluable industry experience and inspired and engaged young students through the power of music.

So far, our talented learners have visited:

Bewdley Primary School

Sutton Park Primary School

Chadsgrove School

Birchen Coppice Primary Academy

Wyre Forest Special School

St George's CE Primary School

Foley Park Primary Academy

Each visit has been a unique and rewarding experience, allowing our students to connect with younger learners in fun, creative, and inspiring environments.

A Standout Moment: Chadsgrove School

One of the most memorable stops on the tour was Chadsgrove School, a SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) school, where our learners delivered two incredible performance sessions. Three student-led bands took to the stage, performing some of their favourite tracks and captivating the audience with energy and passion.

The impact was genuinely heartwarming. Our learners demonstrated maturity, empathy, and professionalism, ensuring that every Chadsgrove student felt included and engaged. Their enthusiasm for music shone through, leaving a lasting impression on the students and staff.

Real-World Experience, Real Impact

At Kidderminster College, we are dedicated to equipping our students with real-world experiences that develop their skills and prepare them for successful careers in the creative industries. This ongoing school tour is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and talent, and we look forward to continuing to connect with local schools through the transformative power of music.

A huge well done to our amazing music learners!
