John Perkins

Lecturer - Construction

I’ve spent the last 30 years working as a bricklayer and builder, gaining experience across a wide range of projects and developing a strong understanding of the trade. After a serious accident, I decided to move into teaching and take on the role of Brickwork Tutor so I could pass on my knowledge and skills to others. Supporting the next generation of bricklayers is something I’m really proud to do. I enjoy helping learners build confidence on the tools, understand the foundations of good workmanship, and prepare for a successful career in the industry.
