You will need to be aged 19 or older.
What will I achieve?
You will gain a solid foundation in Early Years education, focusing on understanding child development, mastering observation techniques, planning engaging activities, ensuring safeguarding, and applying key policies. This program equips you with the skills needed to excel in the Early Years sector, preparing you for roles that make a meaningful impact on children's growth and learning.
What will I learn?
The Early Years Skills Bootcamp spans four weeks, offering an in-depth exploration of Early Years education. The journey begins with understanding child development and foundational principles of Early Years practice. It progresses to mastering observation techniques, tailored activity planning, and aligning practices with professional frameworks. The later weeks focus on creating safe and nurturing environments, understanding safeguarding policies, and fulfilling practitioner responsibilities. The program concludes with practical insights to prepare you for a meaningful career in the Early Years sector.

Job Coach – Supported InternsAs a Job Coach, my primary role is to support and guide interns through their development in the workplace, helping them to transition from an education setting into employment. Identifying every learners interests, strengths, career goals and aspirations and engaging with businesses to source a suitable work placement for their internship. Providing support to help the interns settle into their work placement, perform regular check-ins, performance reviews, set appropriate goals and personal development plans to help them to achieve the best outcome following the programme.
