The Level 2 Kidderminster Harriers Football Academy course provides student-athletes with the fantastic opportunity to study alongside playing football. This course also enables students to access excellent facilities such as the main KC campus and Centre of Sporting Excellence. During this time, students will receive high-quality coaching from UEFA-qualified football coaches.
The course is aimed at individuals who would like to pursue a career in sports and have a passion for football. During your time with us, you will work towards your academic qualification alongside playing in national competitions such as the National Alliance, FA Youth Cup, English Colleges, and Floodlit Leagues. There is also an opportunity to gain sporting qualifications such as the FA level 1 and 2 awards and Sports Leaders award.
You will study at the Centre of Sporting Excellence (CoSE) in Kidderminster and will train three times a week within the same facilities as Kidderminster Harriers First Team as well as competing in a number of leagues including Midland Floodlit League and the AOC League (Association of Colleges League).

To study at the Football Academy, you will need to apply online through our application page, and you will also need to take part in a football trial/interview as part of your application process.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Level 2 BTEC Certificate in Sport.
Work experience opportunities:
You will get the opportunity to visit St George's Park throughout the year, as well as opportunities to coach the Harriers FC Junior team and with the Kidderminster Harriers in the community.
English and Maths:
English will be included in learning new terminology and for written assignments.
Maths will be included in understanding and analysing statistics.
All Kidderminster Harriers students are required to purchase a KHFC Academy kit; details of this will be given to you before preseason training.
Upon completion of this course, you can go on to study Level 3 Kidderminster Harriers Football Academy Diploma.
