Take the next step in the dynamic world of competitive gaming with our Level 3 Esports course designed to give you the skills you need for a successful career in the fast growing world of Esports.
You'll learn about the structure of Esports and how the industry operates. Not only will you learn about the different types of Esports games, but also about the art of live streaming and casting, vital skills that will enable you to bring the excitement of Esports to audiences worldwide.
You'll also learn about the business of Esports, as well as the health and wellbeing of Esports players.
Entry requirements:
- 4 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including maths and English
- An understanding of computers and technology

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Esports.

Work experience opportunities:
Playing for our college Esports team is a great way to meet other people who share your passion for gaming, learn how to work as part of a team and communicate effectively and compete against players in the British Esports Students Championship.
English and Maths:
English skills are vital for Esports professionals who need to be able to communicate effectively with their teammates, coaches, and audience.
You will develop these skills as part of the course. For example, by writing a blog post about a recent Esports event or to giving a presentation on a topic related to Esports.
You will also develop problem solving skills. Esport professionals need to be able to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. As part of the course, you may be required to budget for an Esport enterprise or to analyse your statistics for a particular game.
Where can I progress?
Upon completion of this course, you can go onto study for a university degree.
