You may have little or no skills with social media but you do understand its potential significance in your business. How can you harness social media to help you?
This course offers a comprehensive exploration of these domains, equipping you with the skills to craft effective marketing strategies that resonate with diverse audiences.

On completion of the course, you will receive a Level 1 Award in Creative and Digital Media through Open College Network (OCN)

Over the course you will:
- Understand digital platforms and social media, understanding their unique advantages and challenges.
- Do a deep Dive into Social Media Platforms e.g. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X (formerly Twitter)—to understand their functionalities, user demographics, and roles in marketing campaigns.
- Understand Strategic Planning and Goal Setting: Learn to create SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals, identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and map out customer journeys to optimize engagement and sales.
- Acquire the skills to choose the most suitable social media platforms for specific marketing objectives and develop comprehensive social media policies to guide content creation and community management.
- Utilize analytical tools to assess the performance of marketing campaigns across various platforms.
- Develop targeted marketing messages tailored to specific audience segments.
- Implement best practices for social media governance, including content guidelines and crisis management protocols.
