AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting

• The next course runs on Wednesday evenings from 18:00 to 21:00 starting from beginning of September 2024

Suitable for the learner who has good English and Maths skills and with either limited or no experience in the Accounting world.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a Level 2 AAT Certificate in Accounting.

• Introduction to Bookkeeping
• Principles of Bookkeeping Controls
• The Business Environment
• Principles of Costing

You benefit from regular classes with a college tutor - without having to commit to attending multiple evenings each week. Your tutor will review what you have learnt during your lessons and will be on hand to provide guidance on progress and assessment. Regular discussion with classmates will help to reinforce key points while also providing the additional support and motivation that comes from being part of a group.

All exams are computer based.

The units will be assessed as individual units taken during the course.

The results for Introduction to Bookkeeping, principles of bookkeeping controls and Principles of basic costing are available within 24 hours. Results for the business environment unit are available after 6 weeks, due to being fully or partially marked by a human.

Exam fees are payable in addition to the course costs and students will be required to sign up to AAT and pay membership fees directly within the first six weeks of the course.
