Kevin Jackson
Lecturer - ConstructionMy name is Kevin Jackson, and I’m one of the lecturers in Property Maintenance. I began my career here at Kidderminster College about three years ago. I was previously a student at Sandwell College, where I completed my City & Guilds Plumbing course. Before joining the college, I worked on property renovations, including fitting bathroom suites, kitchens, and carrying out a range of other domestic renovation work. I’ve always enjoyed being hands-on, and when the opportunity to join KC came up, I saw it as a great chance to pass on my skills to the next generation of tradespeople.
Wayne Jones
Lecturer - ConstructionBefore joining Kidderminster College, I built a career that blends creativity with technical expertise. With a background in design, I developed strong skills in conceptual thinking and practical craftsmanship, and I’ve always enjoyed helping learners turn their ideas into tangible outcomes. My experience in design education helped me inspire creativity while still keeping a clear focus on functionality and precision. I later moved into technician roles within university academic settings, supporting teaching staff and students by maintaining workshops, tools, and equipment. My hands-on approach and problem-solving skills helped create safe, efficient learning environments where innovation could thrive. Combining my design knowledge with technical experience, I’m committed to championing practical learning and helping students develop real-world skills.
