More about the course
The Entry 3 Construction qualification is designed for learners who have a keen interest in the construction industry and have left school without GCSE qualifications. This course provides an accessible starting point for developing practical skills, confidence, and an understanding of working within a construction environment.
The course is mainly practical, allowing learners to develop hands-on skills in a workshop setting, with a small element of theory to support their learning and understanding of the industry. Students will focus on all construction areas, learning how to use tools safely, work with different materials, and complete basic construction tasks. Students will build a broader understanding of the industry. The course also covers essential topics such as health and safety, teamwork, and employability skills, preparing students for progression onto higher-level construction courses, apprenticeships, or entry-level roles within the construction sector.
