City and Guilds Level 3 Electric Vehicle Charging Installations (2921-31)

This qualification is aimed at learners who wish to upskill or learn how to install (smaller) EV Charging systems at home or in the commercial industry. The 2921-31 qualification is designed for qualified competent electricians who wish to update their current skills to install and maintain EV charging units in domestic or small commercial premises. The course includes the Design and Installation of Domestic and Small commercial electric vehicle charging installations. This qualification is suitable for candidates looking to become an approved EV Charging Point Installer. The Course is intended for practicing electricians who hold a Level 3 qualification in Electrotechnical Installation or equivalent.

 

BPEC Solar PV Level 3 (BPEC 0018)

This course is intended for learners wishing to upskill or increase their knowledge on Solar Photovoltaic systems. As the need for renewable energy increases, now is a great opportunity for practicing electricians to increase their current knowledge and understanding of Solar PV. This course is a nationally recognised certification in the design, installation and maintenance of small grid tied Photovoltaic systems.  Learners must be competent or practicing electricians and hold an NVQ Level 3 Electrical Qualification (or equivalent) or Approved Electrician Card and BS 7671: 2018 Requirements for Electrical Installations (18th Edition) qualification. During the time on this course, learners will gain knowledge in the following areas

  • AC & DC electrical theory & practical for Solar installation
  • Roofing Structures
  • Solar PV Panel Mounting
  • Installation of roof fixings
