Learners on this course will become members of our college Esports team, which is a great way to meet other people who share your passion for gaming, learn how to work as part of a team and communicate effectively as you all compete against players in the British Esports Students Championship.

If you're aged 16-18 and haven't achieved a GCSE grade 4/C in English and maths, you'll need to take classes in English and maths alongside your programme of study.

This qualification will require you to develop their written and verbal communication skills. This is essential for Esports professionals, who need to be able to communicate effectively with their teammates, coaches, and audience. For example, you may be required to write a blog post about a recent Esports event or to give a presentation on a topic related to Esports.

You'll also need to develop your problem-solving skills. This is essential for Esport professionals, who must make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. For example, you'll be required to budget for an Esport enterprise or to analyse your performance statistics for a particular game.

Upon completion of this course, you can go on to study courses in Esports - Level 3, Creative Games Design - Level 3, or Computing With Programming and App Development - Level 3 at Kidderminster College.

Alternatively, you can go on to an apprenticeship.
