At Kidderminster College, we offer a BA Hons Top Up course for our media courses, of which NCG is our awarding body. The philosophy of the course is to replicate the first year of industry practice rather than the last year of education. The course has a high focus on industry engagement, which provides a bridge between study and work that is both practical and academic.

Keith Temple

Tutor - Media

I teach Level 3 Creative Media here at Kidderminster. I’m passionate about helping students achieve their educational goals whilst at the same time I work with them to establish and build the professional skills necessary for progression onto higher education and careers in the creative industries. Starting off in documentaries, I have an extensive background in writing for TV, film, theatre and novels - working on shows like EastEnders, Emmerdale, Casualty, Doctors, Doc Martin and Dr Who. I continue to balance my professional practice in the arts with my role as educator.

Most of my professional life has been devoted to developing and supporting musicians to thrive and unlock their creative potential, discovering their own unique style and voice. Music is a passion for me, whether it be listening to undiscovered artists, creating music in innovative new ways, or developing the next generation of artists.
