Elizabeth Sale not only has gained more experience completing her Level 3 Work-Based Animal Care course, but was able to share her horses victory in an international show with her classmates.
Why did you choose KC and what did you enjoy about studying here?
I have enjoyed KC this year because of Level 3 Work-Based Animal Care, where the hands-on experience and coursework have not only deepened my understanding but also made me more passionate working with animals in a real-world setting.
What’s been your biggest achievement?
Going to London for the International Horse Show with my classmates and had my horse compete and win the Dressage to Music 2023.
What was your biggest challenge?
Having to resit my English and Maths GCSEs as I have done this for the 3rd time. But the staff have been really supportive leading up to the exams.
What was a typical day like for you studying at KC?
A typical day starts by getting up at home and caring for my animals before coming to college for lessons from 9am to 4pm, three days a week. Then, I will go home to continue caring for my animals.
Ensure you have the work you need on your laptop so you are only sometimes looking at the board. This has helped me focus better on my work.
