Safeguarding

Safeguarding at
Kidderminster College

Your safety and wellbeing are so important to us here at KC. We have a duty of care to safeguard all of our learners and our aim is to empower and equip all our students with the skills needed to keep themselves safe and to achieve and reach their full potential. This includes education, advice and guidance on topics such as how to manage issues around bullying, staying safe on line, healthy relationships and how to recognise potential harm or threat to yourself or others.

All of our College staff, regardless of whether they are tutors or support staff, attend regular training and are committed to ensuring that KC students are in the safest environment possible.

We also have a dedicated Safeguarding Team who are always on hand to listen.  You can find out more about them further down this page.

"Safeguarding means protecting the health, wellbeing and human rights of young adults at risk, enabling them to live safely, free from abuse and neglect"

If you’re suffering bullying, violence or abuse of any kind, or think someone else is, don’t keep quiet. We can help.

Our dedicated Safeguarding Team can be reached both in person by popping to Student Services in Reception, or via email:
