Join our KIT Day and meet your new classmates and tutors!

Keeping in Touch Day is really important as it will be your first chance to meet your fellow class members, tutors and key contacts within the college before enrolment takes place in August.

 

It’ll give you the chance to take part in a practical session within your specific course area, take a tour of the building with your tutor and start your KC journey.

 

KIT Day is taking place on the following dates:

When you arrive, please report to reception where we will issue you your itinerary of the event and introduce you to your tutor.

 

FAQs

Is KIT Day compulsory?

Yes, all applicants will need to attend so that you can start your KC Journey. It is also a great opportunity for you to meet your classmates and have a real taster of the course you have signed up for.

 

Where is my KIT Day session?

KIT Day sessions for all courses apart from Animal Care, Brickwork, Carpentry, Construction Skills, Electrical Installation, Equine Care, Kidderminster Harriers Football Academy, Motor Vehicle Repair, Plumbing, Property Maintenance and Vehicle Respraying will take place at the main college campus on Market Street.

 

Animal Care students will need to attend the Safari Academy for their session.

 

Kidderminster Harriers Football Academy will need to attend the Centre of Sporting Excellence for their session.

 

Brickwork, Carpentry, Construction Skills, Electrical Installation, Motor Vehicle Repair, Plumbing, Property Maintenance and Vehicle Respraying students will need to attend the Green Technology Centre for their session.

 

Equine Care students will need to attend the Market Street Campus at 9:30am before being transported to Sugarloaf Equestrian Centre for their session.

 

I am studying at West Midlands Safari Park or Kidderminster Harriers Academy, do I need to come to the college for KIT Day?

No, if you are studying at West Midlands Safari Park or the Kidderminster Harriers Academy, your KIT Day is taking place at the Safari Academy and Centre of Sport Excellence for these courses.

 

Do my parents or guardians need to attend?

No, this event is for our students however if you would like a parent or guardian to attend, please let us know by emailing: admissions@kidderminster.ac.uk

 

How long will my KIT Day session last?

All KIT Day sessions will last 3 hours except from Equine Care which will run for 5 hours.

 

All KIT Day sessions will start promptly at the time stated.

 

What if I can’t attend?

If you are unable to attend, you will need to inform admissions of this.
