More about the course
The General Operatives course will consist of activities such as setting out, construction of shuttering, concreting, underground drainage, curb braces, gravel paths and slabbing/block paving. You will also have the opportunity to achieve the following accredited cards/certificates.
- Manual handling
- Asbestos Awareness
- First Aid at Work
- General Operatives Green Card (CSCS)
- Fire Safety
Over the duration of your course you will build a running portfolio of work carried out, an up-to-date CV and go through interview prep ready for your interview at the end of the course.

This course runs sporadically throughout the year.

Job Coach – Supported InternsAs a Job Coach, my primary role is to support and guide interns through their development in the workplace, helping them to transition from an education setting into employment. Identifying every learners interests, strengths, career goals and aspirations and engaging with businesses to source a suitable work placement for their internship. Providing support to help the interns settle into their work placement, perform regular check-ins, performance reviews, set appropriate goals and personal development plans to help them to achieve the best outcome following the programme.
