The General Operatives course will consist of activities to suit the individual. If you are looking at starting your career in construction or if you are looking at upskilling into a more senior position, then this course is for you. You will have the opportunity to achieve the following accredited cards/certificates at an entry level.
- Manual handling
- Asbestos Awareness
- First Aid at Work
- General Operatives Green Card (CSCS)
- Fire Safety

This course runs sporadically throughout the year.

You will need to be aged 19 or older.

My passion lies in helping young people and adults to kickstart their careers and gain valuable skills and experience through apprenticeships.

Employer Engagement OfficerAs an Employer Engagement Officer, I engage with employers to provide information on apprenticeships, work experience, short courses and curriculum link projects. By working closely with employers, my main aim is to help them recruit the right person to work within their team.
Stacy Murray
Apprentice Engagement OfficerWorking within the apprenticeship team for the past five years has given me a real insight into the tools needed to complete an apprenticeship and the effect that good support and communication can have on current and new students. My current role as Apprenticeship Lead allows me to guide and assist students through every aspect of their journey with us, which I am most passionate about.
