Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools - Level 2

This course runs once a week, on Wednesday morning, from 9:30 to 12:30

GCSE English and Maths are desirable but not essential for the course but they may be a requirement for employment.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will receive a NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.

• Safeguarding children and young people
• Equality, diversity and inclusion in a learning environment for children and young people
• Maintain relationships with children and young people
• Support the health and safety of children and young people
• Support positive behaviour in a learning environment for children and young people
• Contribute to teamwork in a learning environment
• Understand children and young people's play and leisure
• Promote an effective learning environment
• Provide displays in a learning environment

One evening- usually Wednesday 6-9pm OR one morning session 9.30-12.30 day to be confirmed 6 hours a week in placement.

You will complete a range of tasks including essays, individual research, group presentations. Practical skills will be observed in placement.
