KC Careers Advisor
As part of our Student Services team, our KC Careers Advisers are on hand to help you carve out your future and help you find your place in the world after KC. Our team specialise in:
- Providing career planning and looking at the next steps.
- Supporting students researching HE options by applying through UCAS and HE student finance.
- Supporting and advising on job searches, application forms, CV writing, Labour Market Information and opportunities like courses, apprenticeships, voluntary work, work experience and employment.
- Access to career resources that include computerised and internet resources for career research.
Parents are also welcome to contact our KC Careers Advisers about the support available for their child and to explain and talk through all possible and available progression opportunities.
KUDOS Skills
KUDOS will give you all the information you need to make important decisions about future careers and what subjects, courses and training you can do to reach your destination.
Getting a job
When job searching, you can apply directly to an advert through an agency or online job board. There are several local recruitment agencies you can register with, and these can be found online.
