KC is committed to providing free, impartial, high quality information, advice and guidance that helps students and potential students to make well informed decisions, plans and manage their progression through learning and work. We want you to be prepared for whatever life throws at you, we want to make sure you can confidently make a decision or change path when you need to.

So whether you are looking to ace that job interview or thinking about life after college book an appointment with our helpful, friendly careers team.

We have an amazing Student Services team, who are on hand to help with anything and everything regarding starting your journey here at #TeamKC; they can tell you all about our entry requirements, how to go about applying, what to expect when you get here, what courses are available, they can give you all the low-down on funding for FE and HE courses and point you in the direction of our Counselling and Safeguarding teams. They are there to help you.

As part of our Student Services, we also have expertly trained KC Careers Advisers.

Our KC Careers Advisers are on hand to help you carve out your future and to help you find your place in the world after KC. Our team specialise in:-

  • Providing careers planning and looking at next steps
  • Supporting students with researching HE options, applying through UCAS and HE student finance.
  • Supporting and advising on job searches, application forms, CV writing, Labour Market Information and opportunities like courses, apprenticeships, voluntary work, work experience and employment.
  • Access to careers resources that includes computerised and internet resources for career research
