Trueline Products, a leading supplier, designer and manufacturer of EWI Render Beads and Profile Solutions, has strengthened its commitment to developing future talent by welcoming two new apprentices to the business through its partnership with Kidderminster College.
With more than 32 years of industry experience, Trueline Products works closely with developers, architects and construction companies to deliver innovative solutions to the construction sector. As part of its continued investment in people and future growth, the company recently recruited two apprentices: Charlie Preece, who has joined as an Estimating Apprentice, and Ethan Birch, who has joined as a Business Support Apprentice (Commercial).
The company has a strong track record of supporting apprentices, with previous apprentices progressing into valued permanent roles within the organisation.
Charlie MacAulay-Collins, Business Support Manager at Trueline Products, said:
"Supporting young talent is something we're passionate about, and we look forward to watching our new apprentices learn, grow and build successful careers with us."
Reflecting on the recruitment process, Trueline praised the support provided by the College's Apprenticeship Team.
"Hiring apprentices can be daunting, but the recruitment and onboarding process has been a smooth process."
Trueline believes apprenticeships play an important role in helping young people build workplace confidence, develop professional habits and gain valuable industry experience.
Charlie MacAulay-Collins explained:
"The benefits of an apprenticeship in the workplace are helping youngsters develop essential life skills such as timekeeping and routine. These help shape personal and professional growth and support them to take the next steps in their career path within Trueline."
When recruiting apprentices, the company looks for a combination of problem-solving ability, organisational skills, customer service awareness and effective workplace communication.
Having experienced repeated success with apprentices, Trueline sees apprenticeship programmes as an effective way to develop talent and support the future needs of the business.
"We have had repeated success with apprentices and can develop them to support the growing needs of the business."
Kidderminster College is proud to work with employers such as Trueline Products to create opportunities for learners to gain the skills, knowledge and experience needed for successful careers.
We wish Charlie and Ethan every success as they begin their apprenticeship journeys and look forward to following their progress in the months ahead.
