Kidderminster College proudly welcomed prospective students, families, and local community members to the first-ever Open Evening at our brand-new Green Technology Centre earlier this week. The event gave visitors an exclusive look at our state-of-the-art facilities and exciting opportunities in renewable energy, sustainable technologies, construction, and automotive industries.
The Green Technology Centre is a cutting-edge innovation hub designed to equip students with hands-on experience in the latest industry practices. Attendees had the chance to explore our modern Brickwork, Carpentry, Electrical Installation, and PMO workshops, as well as our high-tech Automotive facilities, which feature advanced diagnostic and repair equipment. The highlight of the evening was our Green Technology section, where visitors learned about the future of eco-friendly construction, renewable energy, and sustainability.
Throughout the evening, expert tutors and industry professionals showcased the courses on offer and answered questions about careers in construction, motor vehicle technology, and sustainable industries.
