Access to HE students talked all things Health at KC

KC Reception was buzzing with activity on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th May. Access to HE students hosted a health promotion event with displays and information for staff and students. The students engaged learners in:

  • Mental Health & Suicide Awareness
  • Safe Sex and Sexual Health
  • Eating Well
  • Drugs and Alcohol
  • Social Media/Body Image
  • Period Poverty
  • Substance Misuse
  • Cervical and Breast Cancer Awareness

Mia McKeown, Danielle Pitt, Elizabeth Harris and Kimberley Duce promoted Mental Health & Social Media Use.

Saskia Euman, Aila McCulloch, Keera Jones and Amy Harrison were promoting Safe Sex.

Jenta Winch, Toni-Leigh Damms, Charlotte Doe and Louise Baker were promoting Cervical Cancer awareness.

Kerry Burgess, Paige Cheshire, Zannah Rafferty-Larsson and Rebecca Harding (not in the picture) were promoting Mental Health: “It’s okay to not be okay”.
