Kidderminster College music students performed a tribute last night to Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark in front of a packed crowd of OMD fans who had travelled from all over Europe to witness this incredible show.
But the icing on the cake was a surprise appearance from Andy McCluskey, singer, bass guitarist and co-founder of OMD.
The Level 3 Year 1 Music Performance students showcased their talent in a highly creative show,
and along with assistance from our music and technical staff, the performance was a huge success.
Music Lecturer Andy Edwards said, “Seeing my students performing OMD songs to the man who wrote and sang them was an incredible experience. And the atmosphere was electric. A big thank you to Andy McCluskey for turning up.”
