This past Friday, Hairdressing learner Aaliyah Brazier, bravely donated her hair to the Little Princess Trust Charity.Over the morning the Hairdressing learners watched as Aaliyah lost her locks, she was even surprised by a visit from her family!
The Little Princess Trust is a children’s cancer charity whose mission is to supply real hair wigs to children suffering with cancer, for the duration of their treatment. They also help children with other conditions which also result in hair loss, such as alopecia.
Since their start, the charity have helped thousands of children. They now work with suppliers throughout the UK!
Debby Richardson, tutor for Hair & Beauty was proud her learners were supporting such a great cause.

By the end of the morning Aaliyah had donated 12 inches of her hair, which is enough for the charity to make a full wig! The total amount of money the learners raised was £43.63.
