Land based studies have recently created a new and exciting working relationship with Wolverley Animal Centre, recently visiting to fulfill an animal care unit required for their qualification, the learners were given the chance to feed the lambs whilst also completing a health check for both the lambs and hens on site.
Chris Millington, Course Tutor said “It was a very useful exercise for the learners, very hands on and every learner was able to take something away from the experience which is exactly what we were trying to achieve.
After a meeting with WAC we established mutual areas in which we could help each other moving forward, this promises to be a very exciting venture for both parties
We’d like to say thank you to them for their wonderful hospitality and look forward to working with Lucy, Bex and the entire WAC team in the future.”
Chris also goes on to say
“We as a course are very proactive in the creation of positive working relationships with other organisations and groups in the local community. Its an essential ingredient in our courses success and learner enrichment.”
