This Thursday our Animal Care and Vocational Studies learners teamed up with Blue Cross, a popular animal welfare charity, to raise funds for sick, injured, and homeless pets.
There were lots of fantastic goodies on offer, from homemade Christmas cards, to cupcakes and calendars!
Blue Cross is a registered animal welfare charity in the UK. The charity supports pet owners who cannot afford private treatment and helps find homes for unwanted animals.
Daryll Bishop, from Animal Care Level 1 said:
‘’I am a huge animal lover so it’s great be working exclusively with Blue Cross and all that they do for animal welfare!”
Jason Cortis, Blue Cross Educational Officer, had nothing but good things to say about our learners:
“It’s fantastic to see the hard work and effort KC learners have put in to support us, we can’t wait to continue working with them across many courses.”
Sharon Strange, tutor for Vocational Studies & Animal Care was also full of praise:
“As always, it’s been a pleasure to work with the charity, our learners have been very busy making Christmas cards and baking cakes, to help raise vital funds for homeless animals.”
