Freedom Tour arrives at Kidderminster College 05/07/2018

Caribbean Gospel Choir’s Freedom Tour arrives at Kidderminster College.

‘BE FREE’ the concert, is part of the ‘Total Freedom’ tour, featuring top gospel artists. Freedom was the theme for performance of ‘Be Free’.

Learners from our music and musical theatre courses had the chance to write and perform original songs with the choir in a packed studio at the college. The gospel choir’s voice coaches worked with the students throughout the day preparing them for their performances.

Mark Corbin thanked the learners saying: “Thank you for a very enjoyable day we thoroughly enjoyed working with your HND learners!”

Caribbean Gospel Music Tours is an international gospel music ministry platform, designed to connect gospel music artists with youth from all over the world, so it is an honour to welcome them to the college. This was a great opportunity for our Level 3 and HND college students to perform alongside the choir in the theatre and it promises to be an amazing show.

Josh Sutton, who performed alongside the choir said: “It was a very inspirational day with a great bunch of musicians and a wonderful gospel choir. Learnt a lot about Caribbean music which was a lot of fun!”

The Annual Caribbean Gospel Music Tour was founded in 2012 by Trinidadian Gospel Artist, Curtis Jordan, who says “This tour creates a platform that bridges the gap between generations by way of music and testimony.”
