Customer Service Apprentice shines at the National Wedding Show… 11/11/2016

Just a few weeks after Jess Graves started a Customer Service apprenticeship, working for The Wedding Rooms in Kidderminster, she assisted with an exhibition at the National Wedding Show at the NEC Birmingham, attracting almost 6,000 brides over three days.

Sara Shell, from The Wedding Rooms, said, “It really is a challenging environment for even our most experienced staff, as crowds of brides to be and their families and friends flocked to the show to gather ideas for their upcoming wedding and of course try on wedding dresses. Jess was in charge of the main stand where all of our dresses were displayed for brides to choose which they would like to try on, while the remaining staff assisted brides into their dresses.”

“Jess was multi-tasking on a monumental scale as not only was she serving the ladies wishing to try on dresses and controlling and monitoring the queuing system, she was also exhibiting excellent customer service skills as she answered a multitude of questions regarding our dresses and store whilst returning dresses to the rail as fast as possible. She excelled beyond all expectations.”

Jess said, “I wanted to do something different and when I saw this apprenticeship I knew it would definitely be something unexpected. The National Wedding Show was brilliant as I learned so much about customer service just in those few days that will stay with me for the rest of my career. I can’t wait until the spring show as I now know what to expect and will enjoy it even more!”
