Childcare students to raise money for the Air Ambulance service who saved their friend’s life… 27/04/2018

Students on the Level 3 Technical Diploma in Childcare and Education course, are hoping to raise money for the Air Ambulance service, who helped their friend and fellow student, Sophie Price, after she was involved in a serious car accident in March. Without the assistance of the air ambulance service, Sophie would not be alive today.

The students would like to hold a fayre on behalf of Sophie to raise a significant amount of money for the air ambulance service, which Sophie will then be able to present to the crew that helped save her life.

The event will take place on Wednesday 13th June between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the foyer of Kidderminster College. There will be multiple activities and stalls, such as a raffle, hook-a-duck, name the teddy, cake stall, popcorn and sweet stalls just to name a few.

The Air Ambulance charity is responsible for funding and operating three air ambulances serving the communities of six Midland’s counties, which constitutes the largest and busiest air ambulance operating region in the UK.

To continue this vital service, the Air Ambulance Charity needs to raise in excess of £9 million each year and the charity is fortunate to count on tremendous public support.  So please come along and support the work of the ambulance service, so they can continue their vital work.
