Bridging Group in Duck House Project 21/06/2018

Our Bridging learners have recently celebrated the successful completion of their Duck House project for local group ‘The Pick Up Artists’. Who specialise in recycling in the local area of Kidderminster, Bewdley and Stourport. They were delighted with the results when they visited the college to see the Duck House once it was finished.

Bridging Learner Joseph Link said ”I really enjoyed the sociable side of the course, cooking for my fellow learners was an area I particularly enjoyed, along with the Lifeskills sessions in Stourport and helping build the foundations for our duck house”

Louise Shannon, the group’s personal tutor said ”All the learners have thoroughly enjoyed doing great things for the community and have all made brilliant progress this year, in light of the success of this project we will be carrying out a community project next year as well”

Lending Louise a helping hand were LSP’s Linda Cresswell & Beth Batty, who also said they have really enjoyed contributing to the continued success of the Bridging Group learners.
