Our Games Design diplomas cover the essential design and development elements required to produce a 2D game. You’ll look at designing levels and adding sound into your game. Background knowledge will be gained by studying how development companies and games design elements are used within this growing industry. 

Key focus will be placed on story and character development for games and you will be tasked with developing a comic to show a section of your game design story. 

You’ll be expected to design and think creatively on this course, so you’ll need to have a passion for this! Drawing skills are not essential but we’d expect you to work on these skills throughout the year so that you are comfortable at presenting your ideas in a visual way. This course will enable you to gain a solid understanding of how the games development sector works, coaching and supporting you so that you’re able to unlock your potential!
