EARLY YEARS

EARLY YEARS

ABOUT THIS COURSE:

There can be few careers more rewarding than working with children. Whether you want to work with early years, school age, teenagers or families, jobs with children are available in the public, private or not-for-profit sectors.

Our Childcare qualifications provides you with detailed knowledge of caring for children. Course content includes safeguarding children, child development, play and learning, health and safety and preparing safe environments.

Placement experience is a compulsory part of the course and provides the practical skills needed to work with children. You will also undertake 2 days per week assessed work experience in a variety of early year’s settings, arranged by the college.

COME & SAY HI:

Now isn’t the time to be shy! It might seem a bit daunting at first, but you should definitely have a chat with the tutors. They know the place best after all, and it gives you a good idea of the sort of people you’ll be taught by and sharing the college with! So, although we can’t do this face-to-face tonight, we’ve got our tutors on standby; book a chat with them now via our link, they don’t bite, we promise!:

This chat can be via Teams or via the phone, it gives you a chance to ask questions ‘in-person’. We’re really sorry but it’s first come, first serve, but we’ll be back again next week, so you can book a slot in for then as well!

We’re also going to be taking over Facebook Live, you can see who is going to be on and when HERE so if you have question, head over to our page and get asking!
