KC’s Level 2 Hairdressing qualification will see you covering and implementing salon health and safety, how to advise and consult with clientele, the importance of presenting a positive image, changing hair colour, technical hair and scalp conditioning, essential basic hair cutting techniques and practices, styling and finishing…the list is endless.

ONE.

Your task is to create a Cutting Booklet.  The booklet needs to include one page for each of the following cuts :

• One length cuts 
• Uniform layer haircuts 
• Long graduation cuts 
• Short graduation cuts.

In your booklet you will need to  need to identify the safety considerations which must be taken into account when cutting hair.

You will also need to identify what styles suit different face shapes.  

And finally, you will need to describe the different cutting techniques such as:-

• Club cutting
• Freehand 
• Scissor-over-comb
• Texturising
