ONE.

Imagine you are a junior journalist on a hair magazine. The magazine is needing an extra article for the next edition and have asked you to create a fact file article on ‘The History of Hair’

You need to choose an Era from the following;-

Egyptian Era
Greek Era
Baroque
Victorian Era
1940’s

You will need to cover:

Both men and women
Iconic developments
Tools and methods used
Can you identify links between current looks and styles you have chosen from your Era?
Include images/pictures.

This can be presented as a word document but can be set out as you choose but try to make it eye catching to grab readers attention.

TWO.

We would like you to research Period Make Up – We would like you to recreate a 1940s make up on yourself and take photographs afterwards – full face frontal, side view and close up of the eyes – in colour plus 1 black and white photograph.

Please keep these photos stored on your phone to bring to your class. If you can please accessories the look with items you already have at home e.g. a headscarf (PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING).
