“We are delighted that the government has seen sense and confirmed that GCSE grades will be awarded based on school and college assessments. Indeed we had already announced that we would be basing our admissions on Centre Assessed Grades.Hopefully this will take away any worries that students may have about their places with us, and we look forward to welcoming you to your new course at Kidderminster College. Please attend for enrolment as planned!”
We know you’re nervously awaiting your GCSE results and want to know how you’re going to be receiving them this year; here’s the lowdown:
On the day (Thursday 20th) head to The Point (not the KC Main Campus) between 10am – 1pm. The Point is located bang next to the college; you can’t miss it!
If you can’t make it to The Point on the day, don’t worry, we’ll be posting your results out via Royal Mail. We’ve got your covered!
If the first letter of your surname is between A-M, can you please arrive between 10am and 11:30am. For people with N-Z, you guys need to turn up between 11:30am and 1pm. By doing it this way, it means can all socially distance and keep everyone, including our staff, safe.
When you get to The Point, please, please wear a face covering; you’ll be able to collect your results from the allocated table. If you don’t have a face mask, check out our KC Blog Post on how to make one! Everything will be sanitised and cleaned regularly throughout results day, again, to make sure that everyone stays safe.
If you want to have a chat with your tutor about your results, please drop them an email. Our tutors will NOT be available to talk about your results at the college or outside the building.
So, a recap:
But please remember, if you don’t get the results you hoped for, it’s okay. Email your tutor, re-group, no matter what happens, you’ve got this!
