Kurt Moss – Digital Music Production

Kurt is making moves as a professional creative, with help from our Digital Music Production course, he has set up his own music label and studio!

“Latest Records is my studio in Kidderminster. I want to help grow the urban music scene in the area, there’s a lot of local talent but most of the studios are focusing on Rock and Metal. I’ve learned to produce music to a very high standard. But on top of this, I have gained valuable life skills that have allowed me to start my own business outside of the college. If it wasn’t for KC I wouldn’t have a studio!”

Tom Newberry (TJ) who studied Motor Vehicle Level 1  here at #TEAMKC, used the knowledge he gained from studying here to springboard into an apprenticeship with a local firm!

“His continued enthusiasm and practical ability has resulted in him being offered an apprenticeship with a local coach and heavy goods vehicle company as a trainee mechanic, a position he thoroughly deserves.”

Zoe Bavington – Health and Social Care

I was attracted by the opportunities that KC offered, such as placement, which was going to enable me to get hands on experience. I was also attracted by the fact that all of the lecturers had worked within the field; within hospitals, social sector and volunteer sector.

Zoe is currently studying BSC (Hons) Midwifery at BCU

Hannah Smith – Public Services

“So two years ago I was told by Stourport sixth form that leaving them would be the biggest mistake however after two years at Kidderminster College I’m actually proud to say I’ve left with the highest grade possible and the best memories!”

After graduation from Public Services here at #TeamKC, Hannah has gone on to join the RAF and was posted to RAF Lossiemouth for active duty. Later that year she commenced her training as a Dog Handler and represented the RAF at Crufts this year!

Max Killing – HND Music Performance

Max is a member of The Americas and has performed at a series of sold out gigs! When he’s not on stage, he’s studying out HND Music Performance course!

I chose Kidderminster College because it was recommended to me by a friend. I didn’t realise the professionalism of the tuition and the course content until my first few weeks in attendance. I was sure this was the right place for me.
