Health & Social Care and Early Years Educator roles are always in demand; from managers to administration to ancillary roles. Deciding which branch to take on your care worker journey can be a hard choice to make; this Level 1 Diploma allows you to experience working within both childcare and a health and social care environment so that you are able to make the right decision for you.

Incorporating practical, social and theoretical skills as well as the opportunity to work on placement, this qualification will give you a broad knowledge and feel for the care sector and is the perfect foundation stone to launch your future from.

    • There are no formal entry requirements for this course. However, a good standard of literacy and numeracy is advantageous

    Whilst on this course we would expect you to bring equipment to classes to assist with completing lesson takes, such as:-

    • Pens
    • Pencils
    • Memory stick
    • Notepad

    You will be expected to wear the appropriate college uniform to placement and to college

    You will need to apply and pay for a DBS in order to attend placement
