The aim of this qualification is to provide a work-related, competence-based qualification. It reflects the skills and knowledge needed to do a job effectively and shows that a learner is competent in the area of work the qualification represents.
The course is based upon assignments which are taught at the main Kidderminster College campus on Market Street as well as photo and practical observation which is carried out at Wolverley Animal Centre where you will get the chance to work closely with species including goats, meerkats, rabbits, sugar gliders, poultry, whites tree frogs, a range of reptiles including snakes, tortoises and lizards and invertebrates such as a scorpion and a tarantula.
Modules include;
4 x GCSE's at grade 3 (formerly D) or above, including English and Maths
