Travel & Tourism Diploma – Level 3

This qualification will enable you to develop the high level work and life skills which are essential for working within such a fast paced and expanding industry. Concentrating on customer service, management and people skills, this Level 3 diploma will see you fly high over the competition, putting you in an excellent position to secure a role travelling the world.

In addition to the course criteria, you will also have the opportunity to complete a variety of industry specific qualifications, including Cabin Crew and Resort Representatives.

  • What are the entry requirements?

    In order to be considered for this rewarding course, you will be required to:

    • Have 4 GCSE grades at 4 or above, including English and maths
    • Have excellent people skills
    • Have a passion for travel and exploring new places
    • Be able to proactively work within a team and independently
    • Have a strong work ethic

    You will be required to attend an interview to ascertain your suitability for the course.

    On successful completion of this qualification you will be able embark on an exciting variety of routes; you will be able to advance to university to continue your study at HND level, gain an apprenticeship or,

    alternatively, you will be able seek employment as

    • Resort rep

    • Work on a cruise ship
    • Hotel work
    • Within the conference and Event industry

  • How will this course be delivered?

    This practical based course will be delivered through:-

    • Presentations
    • Task-based exercises
    • Practical demonstrations
    • 1:1 support
    • Tutorials and lectures

    This course will be delivered over four days at the Main Campus and will require an additional one day self-study.

    You will also utilise our onsite state of the art flight cabin simulator.

    Classes generally run between 9am-5pm but may vary.

    Timetables will be given to all students during enrolment and induction week.

    Alongside this course there will be several day trips and a residential trip.

    You will also be required to complete a work placement which the college will organise on your behalf.
