Tourism & Hospitality – Level 3

The Travel and Tourism industry is ranked one of the biggest industries within the UK, employing over 2 million people in the UK alone.

The Level 3 Travel and Tourism qualifications on offer at Kidderminster College are designed to provide a strong understanding of the Travel and Tourism sector, giving you the knowledge, skills and know how to pursue a career within one of its many diverse branches. The Level 3 course will enable you to develop the high-level work and life skills which are essential for working within such a fast paced and expanding industry.

At Kidderminster College we have our very own modern aircraft simulator, where many lessons take place. 

As part of the Level 3 Travel and Tourism course you will have many opportunities to go out into the field on trips and residentials. These are an important part of the Level 3 Travel and Tourism course as these trips and residentials support many of the units you will study and provide opportunities to meet and build relationships with those working within the industry.

    Level 3 Diploma in Travel and Tourism

  • How will this course be delivered?

    This practical based course will be delivered through:-

    • Presentations
    • Task-based exercises
    • Practical demonstrations
    • 1:1 support
    • Tutorials and lectures

    This course will be delivered over four days at the Main Campus and will require an additional one day self-study.

    You will also utilise our onsite state of the art flight cabin simulator.

    Classes generally run between 9am-5pm but may vary.

    Timetables will be given to all students during enrolment and induction week.

    Alongside this course there will be several day trips and a residential trip.

    You will also be required to complete a work placement which the college will organise on your behalf.
