Ignite Technical Theatre – Level 3

Want a career working behind the scenes? Passionate about the magic of theatre-making? Then you're in the right place.

This intensive Level 3 qualification will provide you with training in a professional capacity by industry specialists. In classes and through workshops you will gain a strong technical grounding in Production Arts, including lighting and sound operation, set design, costume design, and stage management, along with professional development and enrichment studies.

Our approach aims to relate theory to practice, inform the development of your own creative vision, and enhance lifelong skills for employment. Throughout this course, you are encouraged to be versatile and critically evaluate your own skills as you grow in confidence and maturity.

Your skill set will be showcased in a number of productions throughout your training. Our Ignite 'Techie Team' gets the opportunity to work collaboratively with all Performing Arts courses to produce performances in our purpose-built in-house studio theatre space, and in external spaces.

Ignite Technical Theatre works the closest, and most collaboratively, with Ignite Musical Theatre and Ignite Acting, which allows you to create your own bespoke training programme to best suit your needs and future career goals.
