Want a career in the Performing Arts, then this qualification is for you! This course specialises in Acting, Musical Theatre and Theatre Production.
Acting - Offering you training in a professional capacity by industry specialists. Within classes and workshops you will gain a strong technical grounding in acting and performance, alongside professional and personal development. Past productions have included Caryl Churchill's 'A Mouthful of Birds', Alice Sebold's 'The Lovely Bones', Jim Cartwright's 'ROAD' and a stage adaptation of John Hughes' 80's cult-classic 'The Breakfast Club'.
Musical Theatre - Your skill set will be showcased in a number of productions throughout the course. Large scale productions by IGNITE Musical Theatre students have included Cabaret, Crazy for You, Les Misérables, Anything Goes, Little Shop of Horrors, Spring Awakening, We Will Rock You, Sweet Charity, In The Heights, The Uncastables (Original Musical) and Musical: The Musical (Original Musical).
Technical Theatre - This course will give you the opportunity to work with industry experts, develop skills in Lighting and sound operation, set design and construction, stage management and so much more. Not only this but you will have continuous opportunities to put these skills to practice during Dance, Musical Theatre, Acting and Music performances. Not only will you learn from our technical team but from our industry experts. This course not only provides you with on-the-job training but with theoretical approaches to strengthen your knowledge and skills.
