Building on the skills you acquired during Level 1 of this Diploma, this qualification now aims to push you further, you'll be looking at various systems within a motor vehicle and how they interact and relate to each other. Alongside the practical elements of this course, you will take a more theoretical approach to understanding the workings of vehicles and hone your skills at simple diagnostics on mechanical systems.
In the workshop you'll remove and strip various components, and also look at common faults that occur. In the classroom you'll study various systems on the vehicle, how they work and how they interact with each other. You'll also learn about and look into basic diagnostic techniques.
