The make-up industry is cut-throat world, where only the brightest and most talented make it, and that's what we aim for you to be on completion of this qualification.KC's Level 3 Hair and Media Make-up Diploma takes it up a notch; mastering all manners of make-up application, including SFX and application of prosthetic pieces, this intensive year long programme will allow you to capitalise, finesse and hone in on the essential skillset you developed during your Level 2 study.
A combination of practical, tutorial and theoretical work will give you the technical knowhow to build an outstanding portfolio, have the confidence to work with an array of clients and utilise a range of different make-up mediums.
Based on Habia National Occupational Standards this qualification is recognised by the UK's largest beauty therapy trade body/professional association as being fit for purpose for preparing students for a career as a make-up artist

This programme will be delivered via
You will receive practical demonstrations and theory input to develop your knowledge and understanding confidently preparing you for assessment and examination.
The study programme is 13 hours a week and also includes a 60 hour mandatory work placement.
Classes generally run between 9am-5pm but may vary.
Timetables will be given to all students during enrolment and induction week.
Students will have their practical hairdressing, make-up artistry and beauty skills assessed in a realistic salon working environment. Written assignments and online examinations are also used to assess learners' knowledge and understanding.
