The Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy is a substantial vocational qualification for individuals seeking a career as an employed and/or self-employed beauty therapist.

Completion of this course will lead to a VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy
This qualification is based on the beauty therapy National Occupational Standards and is recognised by the UK's leading professional bodies (The British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology (BABTAC) and the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) for preparing learners for a career as a junior beauty therapist or further study in beauty therapy.

You will receive practical demonstrations and theory input to develop your knowledge and understanding confidently preparing you for assessment and examination.
16 hours per week over 3 days
Classes generally run between 9am-5pm but may vary. Timetables will be given to all students during enrolment and induction week.
You will be working under supervision at Kidderminster College's on-site salon, Elements, delivering services to colleagues, members of the public and staff.
We will organise a ten work placement for you as part of this course; we are incredibly dedicated to helping you apply your skills in a real-life setting which will build both your confidence, skills and knowledge.
As with Level 1 of this Diploma, you will be assessed practically through observation in a salon environment and will be required to complete written assignments and online examinations throughout the course period.
