The next step towards your vehicle respraying career will see you hone your theoretical and practical skillset. Building from the groundwork you laid down during your first year, you will advance to tackle more complex techniques, utilise an array of filling and foundation materials and learn the principles of vehicle diagnosis and customer consultation.
Working to City and Guilds guidelines, this second year course is designed to further build upon your confidence and abilities, giving you a better understanding of how different aspects of the vehicle respraying industry operate and how to practically apply your expanding skillset to the next step in your career.
Again, as with Level 1, you will utilising state of the art equipment and finishes throughout the qualification, gaining a familiarity with the tools, equipment and brands associated with the trade

Completion of this course will allow you to move onto a Level 3 Apprenticeship or seek employment in a local body shop.
You will achieve a Level 2 Diploma in Vehicle Respraying
This practical based course will be delivered through:-
You will be working within Kidderminster College's Vocational Skills Centre, where you will be repairing and deconstructing the numerous cars that we have on-site.
This study programme will be taught over 13 hours over three days.
Practical work will be carried out at our purpose-built Vocational Training Centre, theoretical and background tutorials will take place on our Main Campus.
Classes generally run between 9am-5pm but may vary. Timetables will be given to all students during enrolment and induction week.
This practical course will see you gain industry work experience through tasks, exercises and trips. We aim to organise a visit to the Lechler main site so that you are able to experience different working environments.
