Accounting Level 2 Certificate in Accounting

This qualification will prepare you for junior and entry level accounting roles. It delivers a solid foundation in finance administration - covering areas such as double entry bookkeeping to basic costing principles and using accounting software.You will learn finance, accountancy, business and communications skills.

  • How will this course be delivered?

    Lessons will be for three hours a week on Thursday evenings with online resources which can be used in learners own time.

  • How will I be assessed?

    All exams are computer based.

    The units * will be assessed as individual units taken during the year and also within the unit **.

    Please be aware that the unit ** is taken on a specific date, details will be available prior to enrolment.

    The results for units * are available within 24 hours. All other results are notified after 6 weeks due to being fully or partially marked by a human.

    Learners will not be enrolled onto a course until they have met an Accounts lecturer. Interviews will offered once the application has been received.

    3 hours per week in college, plus additional hours study at home.

    Tuition fees of £1,235 are payable to the college.  This amount can be paid either in full at the time of enrolment or by instalments.

    Full or partial funding for this course maybe applicable subject to eligibility.  Please enquire at interview.

    Exam fees are £265 payable at the same time as the tuition fees, so total, as advertised, £1,500 

    AAT's student membership fee will be payable to the AAT within three weeks of starting the course at a cost of £172.
