This qualification will prepare you for junior and entry level accounting roles. It delivers a solid foundation in finance administration - covering areas such as double entry bookkeeping to basic costing principles and using accounting software.You will learn finance, accountancy, business and communications skills.
Suitable for the learner who has good English and maths skills and with either limited or no experience in the accounting world
if you wish to pursue a career in accounting you have the option to extend your studies to a Level 3 Advanced Diploma.
Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
Lessons will be for three hours a week on Wednesday evenings 6:00pm - 9:00pm with online resources which can be used in learners own time.
All exams are computer based.
The units * will be assessed as individual units taken during the year and also within the unit **.
Please be aware that the unit ** is taken on a specific date, details will be available prior to enrolment.
The results for units * are available within 24 hours. All other results are notified after 6 weeks due to being fully or partially marked by a human.

Learners will not be enrolled onto a course until they have met an Accounts lecturer. Interviews will offered once the application has been received.
