Accounting & Business Diploma – Level 3

This course will allow 16-19-year-olds to continue their accounting studies. In this qualification you will master more complex accounting disciplines including financial processes, advanced bookkeeping, final accounts and ethical practices for accountants.

This qualification is suitable for the learner who has already completed AAT Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping or Certificate in Accounting and Business or A-Level accounts.

    • To hold at least 4 GCSEs including English Language at Grade 'C' or Grade 4 or above

    This course can lead to a number of routes:-

    • Assistant Accountant
    • Tax Assistant
    • Credit Controller
    • Payroll Administration
    • Accounts payable clerk/supervisor.
    • Continued study can lead to a becoming a Qualified Accountant
  • What qualifications will be gained?

    At the end of the study period, you will achieve a AAT Foundation Diploma in Accounting and Business - Level 3

  • How will this course be delivered?

    This course is delivered over 3 days per week through different methods including:

    • Structured class lessons
    • Presentations
    • Practical Activities and discussions
    • 1:1 support
    • Tutorials
    • Group work
    • Work experience which will be completed within the academic to suit the individuals' timetable.

    You will study up to a maximum of eighteen hours per week over three days.

    Classes generally run between 9am-5pm but may vary.

    Timetables will be given to all students during enrolment and induction week.
