The Access to HE Diploma (Health Professionals) offered at Kidderminster College currently runs in the daytime, over two full days. The course is Level 3 and designed to prepare students for Higher Education, offering a variety subjects in study skills, human biology, psychology and health studies. The course is challenging and vigorous, so if you are motivated, committed and determined, you have the potential to achieve and meet your career goals.
The course is made up of four modules, each broken down into units:
Study Skills techniques
GCSE English Language at grade C/4 or higher (mandatory).
GCSE Maths at grade C/4 or higher (grade D/3 is accepted but learners will be expected to study GCSE Maths alongside their main course).
Functional Skills Level 2 in English/Maths is accepted as an alternative to GCSE. Please note that it is the responsibility of the learner to ensure that these qualifications will be accepted by universities.
You will be required to attend an interview.

This is a part time course studied over the period of one year. However, due to the intensity of this course, it will require an element of independent study.
You will complete a range of tasks including essays, reports, fact files, individual research, presentations, group discussions and timed assessments.
